Project completed during SCAD Lacoste winter session for a creative studio advertising class. The challenge was to reimagine the look of a local business.

  • This advertising and branding project created a visual identity for Provence’s independent winery Domaine J&D.

  • The winery is located in the town of Caromb, whose mythology centers around two alchemist brothers ( “frères alchemistes” ) who become enemies in their pursuit of fame and fortune.

  • Our wholistic rebrand began with a name change and a new color palette inspired by the region’s fall season. We then designed character illustrations of the alchemist brothers. Additionally, we created a custom typeface and hero patterns to use in our deliverables.

Frères Alchimistes

The Alchemist Brothers (Frères Alchimistes) are central to the mythology of Caromb, France, where the vineyard is located. So we made them the focus of our branding.

We created a custom typeface inspired by alchemy symbols.

Domaine Didier has the opportunity to engage locals through community events, such as cook-offs with regional chefs creating dishes paired with Didier’s signature wines.
